Two people,
lots of opinions.

We’re Heidy and Brandon, the strategy-and-design duo behind La Lune.

We started working together because we discovered something pretty quickly: Heidy is really good at figuring out what something should mean, and Brandon is really good at figuring out what that meaning should look like.

Turns out, that’s a useful combination.

Today, the two of us work side by side across strategy, messaging, marketing, design, and creative direction for businesses big, small, established, just getting started, and somewhere in the messy middle.

Meet Heidy

Strategy, messaging + the person asking “but why?” one more time.

Heidy is La Lune’s strategist, writer, marketer, question-asker, and enthusiastic thread-chaser who makes everything suddenly make sense.

She believes businesses usually know more about themselves than they realize. Her job is to ask the right questions, find the good stuff buried underneath years of being too close to it, and turn it into strategy and language other people can actually understand and care about.

She’s especially fond of smart ideas, good sentences, strong curse words, and books she will absolutely tell you about whether you asked or not.

Meet Brandon

Design, illustration + making the whole thing look ridiculously good.

Brandon is La Lune’s designer, illustrator, visual thinker, and the person responsible for turning all that strategy and language into something people actually want to look at.

He has an uncanny ability to take a pile of ideas, references, half-sentences, feelings, and “you know what I mean, right?” and turn them into visual systems that somehow feel inevitable once you see them.

He believes good design should be beautiful, thoughtful, useful, and built to last longer than whatever happens to be trending this week.

He is also a long-weekend road-tripper, comedy-show go-er, and notoriously unlikely to answer your email before Heidy already has.

We could just make you something pretty. But where’s the fun in that?

We want to know what you’re building. Who it’s for. Why they should care. What’s working. What isn’t. What you’ve been meaning to fix for the last three years.

Then we get to work.

La Lune is a small marketing and design studio built around a pretty simple idea: the best creative work starts with understanding what the hell we’re trying to accomplish in the first place.

So before we design the brand, build the website, write the campaign, or make the thing, we ask a lot of questions.

We get to know your business well enough to understand what makes it good, what makes it different, and what other people need to see in order to get it, too.

When you hire La Lune, you get us.

You know that thing where you meet your team in the kickoff meeting and then somehow end up working with a mystery team afterward?

Yeah. We don’t do that.

The people in the meeting are the people doing the work. We know your business. We know why decisions were made. We remember the idea you hated three meetings ago and the weird little sentence that made everyone light up.

And the longer we work together, the more we know. The less you have to explain. The faster we can get to the good stuff.

That’s kind of the point.

Good partnerships make better work.

Some of our favorite client relationships have lasted for years.

Not because we want to keep you dependent on us forever, but because something useful happens when your creative team really knows your business.

We remember the conversations and understand the context. We notice when something doesn’t feel like you.

Eventually, you stop having to explain so much, and we can get to the good stuff faster.
